But this idea of “balance” doesn’t just plague school administrators. Executives and leaders of all organizations are constantly connected to work putting in ridiculous hours. In fact, the Center for Creative Leadership surveyed 500 smartphone enabled executives and found that on average, they are connected to work 72 hours a week.
What happened to the 40 hour work week? ? … 72 hours makes 50 hours look like a walk in the park. I’d take that any day!
